Gravel Driveway and Parking Lots

Gravel can make a great driveways and parking surface when it is installed right. The key to a successful gravel driveway or parking lot project is using enough gravel and compacting everything from the dirt sub base the rock goes on to the rock in proper lifts. In some case geosynthetic fabrics and geo-grids can be used to help strengthen the area even more

Gravel driveways, parking lots, and parking spots are a great alternative to parking on dirt and offer a big cost savings compared to asphalt, concrete or pavers.

When building a new area it is important to make sure the dirt under the area is sloped so the water flows where we want it too. After we are certain the water is going where we want it to we can install geosynthetic road base fabric to help strengthen the area. From there it is time to install the gravel and compact it so you can have a functioning area to drive on. Class 5 is the most common material used. In some situations bigger or smaller stone is used depending on your specific site conditions

If you already have an existing area that over time has worn down and needs some more gravel we can top coat the gravel and fill in ruts to help bring it back to its original condition.
